Year over year median home prices in the DFW area continued to rise for the month of February. However, the number of closed sales for the month were down just over 6% as the extremely low (down 59%) inventory of homes available for sale is beginning to have a significant impact on the market.
Home buyers are hopeful that this year many homeowners who have been reluctant to sell, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will decide that now is a great time to take advantage of the strong seller's market and list their homes for sale.
